Well said, but considering this party is only semi-underground it has something for everyone, and nearly everyone in the psytrance scene likes one of those 3 acts, Shiva Chandra for his years of being the king of minimal (Gecko is the #1 minimal psytrance album of all times IMO), Texas Faggott are definately the example anyone gives for Suomi psy, and Azax Syndrome is one of the new wave of full-on (that people have dubbed 'dark' despite it not always being dark).
I'd prefer it if the lineup was less all-over the place, but I'll come for Shiva Chandra and Texas Faggott, some others will come for Darwish and Azax Syndrome, and others will enjoy other things - and that's the point I guess. Just like you always see a white guy in the NBA Slam Dunk contest.

I don't usually say this, but this kinda falls under the same thing that happened with Tsuyoshi. He came to a party, and we all wanted to hear his crazy "older" sounds but he ended up playing newer stuff that isn't my favorite... (Notice how i didn't say it was crap or anything, cuz im sure there are people out there who like the new stuff better and i have no right to judge whether or not it's better).
However, whatever they end up playing, im sure it's gonna be pure karahana at the party  |
