I'm learning more about synthesis and would love to know what some other interesting parameters that you routed/modulate.
i.e: Velocity to Filter Cutoff.

I like to use Velocity to AMP decay.
Sometimes I use the MM when I´m just too lazy for automations... Like when I want to modulate both sustain and release(with similar setting), I just automate one of them, and link it via MM to the other one.

Amp Envelope -> -Amp Envelope Decay (for bass)
Aftertouch -> LFO1/Pitch
Breath -> Tape Delay Time
Velocity ->Transpose + Aftertouch -> Delay Send
LFO1 -> LFO2 Assign Amt + LFO2 -> Pitch

velocity to amp env att ( for bass)
lfo to volume ( for tremolo)
lfo to pitch (for vibrato)
env to cutoof ( for filter sweeps with certain settings..)
MSEG to osc tune for instant melodys
MSEG to whatever..( just find out yourself.. 
a lot more..

Ah rite this versitile for mod matrix asignment? Sylenth is qite limited....
What's the best synth out there for use of mod matrix? Cancilling out fm7 and 8 -far too time consuming

fuk me dint realise albino was capable of creating such fat basslines just with one ocilator.... i assigned
Velocity - Main amplitutude
Velocity - Env f1 decay
LFO 1 - EnvAmp decay
LFO 1 - Env f1 decay........
the result is a pumping fat bassline..

self modulation is possible with mod matrix,
when you link one parameter to parameter from the same group.
very basic example: amp attack -> amp release
on infekted.org i once read a post where it was explained better ...
but i still think the 'random' is the best source ever ...
just record that - and harvesting the best mutations.
