Hey Osirus!
A real nice book to read on the subject is Rick Snowmans "Dance Music Manual"...u can buy it on www.Amazon.com
It has some wicked chapters on synthesizing (basic & more advanced), on mixing, sampling, music theory, and production in general , realy nice one in my oppinion!!!
Ofcourse the overall focus is not precisly on psy-trance, but no matter what genre u are in to - this book can be extremely helpfull!!

far from an attempt to hijack, i'd start to go an put my hands in the mud
on software go to
http://www.synthedit.com
download the app and help file, start to open one of the demos examples and follow with the helpfile
after getting the basics, get Moog Modular, the software version, or you'll need a big room too!
than you'll get back to synthedit or any other of the modular kind because Moog Modular will not fit your needs anymore lol |
