what exactly are you talking about?           We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.

Hmmmmmmmmmm the negativity comes mainly from your part. I just react fullon when someone deservs it. As I wrote in an Israeli psytrance forum with people like you, I only sound depressing to depressed people. By depressed people I mean people like you who are not in touch with reality and in need of drugs etc. to escape, and when someone like me brings some real world to their life, they start wanting to cut their veins or something. The reactions I get in this forum are so much like in the Israeli forum that it's amazing. I must mention that a some of my threads there were deleted, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens also here (though here the management seems to be with much more "street smarts" so maybe not).

Dude it's one thing to bring people to reality and another thing to be a jerk.....

And who gave you the reality police job anyway?

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO READ?

"Since this is not a small community we have some guidelines as to what this forum deals with and how to behave in it- please read them well and respect them!

Be respectful and polite to others.
No violence- no swears, no dirty language, no degrading words- say what you want politely and respectfully.
Advice: read again what you wrote before hitting the post key- try to think if it will really deliver your message the right way.

This an international forum:
Write in English, so all can understand.
Mind your words, there maybe others from a different culture that will find them offensive.

This is a big forum:
Make sure your posts are interesting to the majority of the community. Otherwise carry on discussions privately- the forum enables you to
send private messages to other forum members, and communicate with them via different channels- ICQ & Email.
Try to stay on topic- there are different forums for different subjects- try to stick to the subject.
If you really want to say something off topic that you feel will interest all others, use the off topic forum.

No-no's:
No politics.
No violence.
No disrespect."

I think you have violated every one of these guidelines. As well as every informal guideline we follow as a community. You aren't even worth all this wasted energy and time, so this is the last response you will hear from me. On the forum or in person.

I feel so sorry for the newcomer who would come to this forum and read all this crap, what kind of thoughts do you think he/she will have of the trance scene in NA?
Ignore him and he'll go away, its as simple as that           We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home.

eugene - if you hava had similar reactions in the isreali forum and in this forum and in almost all of your posts - does that say something to you about yourself? It seems to me that the only common denominator is you and your posts. Your blatant classism and elitist attitude is starting to piss a whole bunch of people off - if you cannot see that then you are blind and if you can see it then you are doing this for kicks eitherways its pathetic. We cannot show you how to behave in an international surrounding - that comes from how you were brought up - we will however be very quick to react to your pungent language about hippies or Arsim or whatever - you need to chill tfd and smoke a jay with your ivy league professors so that you can learn the true meaning of being a world citizen. My two bits.

Uncle Bob: I'm not being a jerk. Nobody gave me any reality job, but this is what people here demand.....

PsyDrama: I only react violently when someone else does it first. So tell your friends not to start fights, and there will not be fights, it's that simple.

Liquid-Vision: the newcomer will know what exactly this scene is all about. Maybe he'll like it, maybe not, but at least he'll know what to expect.

droozi: these 2 forums are only a small part of the world. In NYC for example there are much more normal people. Some complained that I'm going too far for a beginner, but at least I've received a lot of "you're right" and "you say a lot of things that make sense" etc. Basically the reactions I receive say that I'm not able to deal with freaks like you, which is just fine with me. Also: true "world citizens" would never threaten me etc. like people here did. Believe me, Cornell is a very international place and I know how to be "international".

gosh, would you shut up already about your fucking Cornell please? Ivy League is not a normal place, it's a bubble far removed from reality and full of assholes who think they're smarter and better than the rest of us, which is the most ridiculous (and dangerous, and insulting) notion one can have. Believe me, I am speaking from personal experience having gone to one of them. It took me a few years to accept the fact that there are more intelligent and amazing people outside of it than I ever thought possible.

A piece of friendly advice: try to find a little humility in your heart. It will carry you a long way.

Hmmmmmm so you were not so successful there and now bitter??? Yes, I think I'm smarter than most people, but this is a FACT!!!! And all your stupid arguments won't change it. Despite my smartness, I feel very connected to the world, unlike you. I've already told my story about the visit to a redneck bar, these guys maybe can't be mathematicians, but they knwo how to recognise real people. This is why W Bush is the president, he is also a real person, despite being a son to the big shot Bush family and going to Yale. BTW I have lots of humility in me, but somehow you just can't see it.

Edit: I'm not saying that all Cornellians are angels, or that all the non-Ivy-leaguers are less smart than me. However I didn't find much smartness here!!!!! This is for sure

just so you know (and I am sure you know), an MS in applied physics from Cornell is not considered an Ivy League product. The graduate schools don't belong to the league, remember? Especially not in Applied Sciences.

Is that why you mention it so much? Are we a little butt-hurt?

Just FYI many Cornell graduates would not be able to get into Cornell's PhD programs (I was in this program until I've decided to switch to math and live with an MS), so it's even better OK? You should see on graduate school forums how "real" Ivy League graduates sometimes hope to get into even mediocre graduate schools. I perhaps never took 60 credits of literature or something at Cornell, but as a scientist I'm pretty darn good. And I took there math classes with undergrads and was a big star!!
