I heard there's a good emulator out there. I'll check right away.

Hee hee hee!
But seriously, has anyone ever acutally DONE a water cooling mod? It seems like you're enabling yourself to push your system so far beyond what it's designed to do that there's bound to be some strangeness happening even if the temperatures stay low.
Also, it seems like it costs so much money that for the same amount you could buy a new hot shit processor that was actualy DESIGNED go as fast as the chip you're unnaturally overclocking.
It would be nice to have a totally silent computer though... anyhoo...

use pipe cooling, u can't overclock with it, but u can completely cool ur pc with pipes (no moving parts), including the PSU and CPU, but do watch out and check the temperatures vigurously the first weeks... Because pipe cooling ur psu and cpu is not ideal, it's just silent and cheap...
watercooling is nice and all, and it is silent, but it's not just expensive, it's EXPENSIVE... U don't just pay the cooling system u know, the electricity bill goes up about 100€ a year because of it... And after a few years that's a lot of money Pipe cooling doesn't use electricity or moving parts, so it's cheap and it can't break. |

actually water colling can bring even more noise because of the pump motor
i would choose getting bigger fans that rotater slower and BIG dissipators...
  roll a joint or STFU :) |

I used watercooling on my previous processor (amd 1700+ 1.48 ghz or something) and got it to about 2.5 ghz. And yeah, its funny to tweak your system |
