heya...

do u guys also sometimes take your mobile players with you when u are on the go? do u know the feeling when u're walking through the streets or sitting in a public transportation vehicle or what ever, and there is something such freaking playing that u would like to jump up and scream (or even do it ) ?
to me listening to music while heading through the city by feet or by bus can get very intense...like its a soundtrack...the things around me suddenly seem to move in sync with the music....ahh its fucking undescribable, i just get mad in the inside .
can happen with any track that rocks today it was rastaliens
any input? cheers

If i'm in a bad mood and decide to take a walk with full on playing it generally makes me a hazard to society

I just love to hear music when i go to work or when i'm in train. The music totally alters the perception of the surrounding world. It's funny to see ppl talk and to hear weird sounds in the ears. Like an alien narrative of some kind. There are techniques in cinema making which involve sounds and musical themes that mask the actual speech. Like the battle scene in "Saving Private Ryan". But that's offtopic.
And i don't even mention walking in the dark streets late at evening with dark sounds like X-Dream or Hujaboy. It's quite frightening experience.

I have music on any time it is possible. Even if I walk down to the local shop I take my MD player with me.

I can't wait until you can have an implant in your ear which plays music so you can have music on all the time.

In fact, the coolest thing would be if someone could invent an implant which was intelligent enough to play the perfect piece of music to match the situation you were in and to match your emotions at a certain time, like in a movie.

Or maybe I've just thought about this too much...           "One nation under a groove".

Good idea technoid.
Although it would be very hard to implement, because everybody has different perception of reality, notices different things, etc.

I take my portable CD player to school, sometimes I dance with it during breaks. I like it

ye its awesome. its a novel about nanotechnology dont know if your familiar with this research but its about making very very small machines. like the size of molecules. in this book we have perfected this technology which essentially enables us to build anytthing. including all sorts of implants. its a brilliant and visionary book. you should definitely check it out           ein chadash tachat hashemesh. there is nothing new under the sun. --kohelet.

Cheers!

Sounds cool, think I'll give it a look.

One of my favourite things to do at the moment is go for walks by myself along the cliff tops near my house (I live by the sea) listening to Psysex 'Come In Peace'. Have been listening to BP Empire a bit recently, too, funnily enough.           "One nation under a groove".

Sometimes when I'm walking thru the city while listenning to great psychedelic sounds I just wonder:
why everyone else is not jumping?!?

Also it must be funny to see me walking/dancing when the music gets really unendurable...
