Oh Gee .. here we go .. my god people can bitch !!! It really gets so boring .. man, code a, i think u are just one of those people who dig it dark, dirty and underground .. cause i've noticed over the posts u have written that as soon as anything becomes even slightly "pop" in the sense that more people are enjoying it, for wateva reason .. u decide that u hate it and its just not cutting it anymore .. hehehe .. i agree that our last party was more "underground" but i cant agree that this one was disappointing in any way, or small for that matter, i dont quite get u'r " small party trying to be like the big one's for all the wrong reasons " comment .. it was EXACTLY the number of people we hoped to get and was not very small at all .. and wat f&%king reasons .. LOLLOL .. anyway .. i guess as usual there will always be the few die hards who will always use the word "psychedelic" wateva the hell that means these days .. who knows !! i think its all a matter of opinion  Well thanx to all who came .. cause of u our party was a massive success and we as the organizers were REALLY happy with the party !!! Hope to see ya all next year for our 3rd Anniversary .. cause we aren't going ANYWHERE !!!! 
Oh and one last thing .. Rex Trueform, i've just gone thru the posts u have written in the last few days .. there are quite a few and 95% are negative .. are u an unhappy person ??? |

That`s the comment I was hoping for MMD.
You don`t know me and I can understand your confusion based on my posts.
I`m an honest person making an honest statement.
I take constructive critism when it`s given.
With regards to my posts in this thread I think they too are valid.
I`ve been around so I`ve got nothing to prove.
I atleast am honest about things I don`t like.
Too many sheep just following rather than asking for something else.
Why is it that because I`m honest it`s seen as negative?
why exactly you`d feel I`m unhappy because of my honesty I don`t know.
I will be even more honest and say I do complain about parties and music but that is my right.
And I don`t just make a noise either I also set an example.
I have loads of respect for all you folks organising parties and producing music but that really doesn`t mean I lack respect or am unhappy because I comment on something I don`t like or observe.

firstly, i don't hate certain music because it's "pop", but because the idea that it is even allowed to be called music is an insult to the artform itself. shit from frozen ghost et al is non-rythmical bull that sounds like two people made it at the same time, but in different rooms... wtf?! but i guess the shortage of descent psy-producers in this country is at such a low that anyone who can throw 7 mins of sounds together gets signed. great..
secondly, you guys pulled of the sickest party last year and it was extremely well received by a wide spectrum of people that, one might say, enjoy different 'types' of psychedelic. why deviate from a successful concept that clearly satisfies everyone? i really can't grasp what you guys are trying to achieve, besides commercializing your sounds by first branding yourselves dark, to be perceived as 'cool', and then to play that weird, nonsensical 'music' that attracts mainly constantia kiddies that want drugs and are to stupid to understand what (psychedelic) music is. timecode, vortex, alien safari all pulled that off... guess that's what i meant with the "small party" comment.
