You can't pitch tracks with a DAT player. That hasn't stopped some DJs to manage to beatmatch well with DATs but Goa Gil isn't one of them.
Actually Goa Gil is the asbolute worst trance DJ I have heard in 10 years of attending partys. Don't try and emulate him.

he he, funny, because even with the CDJs, it's how I tend to beatmatch: right in! 
But unless the CDJ's, you cannot rectify your match when it's started....
