Shit,I wanted to ask about that.
I got the movie (also the book,I think its roughly the same),he talks about them balls of colors and whatnot as visual framework,is this Dave Gibson guy legit?

I think so, but the information is very 80s and aimed at total beginners. It gave me a good idea what mixing is about, but knowing where to cut what sound and how much etc. comes more from experience/experimenting. |

That mixing tutorial is awesomeness. I laughed my ass off and learned a good bit too.
I recently purchased Reamix - breaking the barriers with Reaper and I'm really happy with it. TONS of practical mixing tutorials, and a good bit of theory and whatnot that's not reaper specific. Very highly suggested.
