If you can put your hands on this plugin, it will give you a great visualization of the track you have doubts about.
It will show if it distorts then you can use the GAIN (Trim) input and lower it when needed.
You will find a lot of tracks that are beeind distorted without paying attention.
Always use the gain input of the track when needed, not just lowering the volume.
