Hi people
after a month of hard work, i finally can do a proper beatmatch. i still take about a minute to do it, but i always do

so now what i want to know is your mixing techniques (eq, cdj100's effects etc) and how you use it.

i know each track is different and every dj has a different way to do it, but i want to hear from all of you

peace

I like to toss on 2 fairly minimal records and do a lot of playing around with them like fader-throws (moving the fader quickly all the way to the other record, then bringing it back), or flicking the switches. If I'm playing the more full on stuff, I make one track build as the other is going down. Then, when the rise and fall "cross" I switch the Bass EQs. I hope that made at least a little sense.

first of all use the pfl (pre fader listening) to see that the track that you wanna mix is on 0dB.

second :

basicly make sure that the eq from both channels together, low + low for example , will give you together the same amount of low frequeny that you would get by playing one track alone .

all the rest is basicly depand on the kind of trax that you r mixing...

turn Low to -3db and then back to normal real fast.. it gives you a kind of low cut, but sounds different..           "These psychedelic substances cause hysterical psychoses in people who have not taken them..." T.L.
