hey im used to playing about on virtual dj on windows xp. but due to some unfortunate incidents i had to erase my windows hard drive from my macbook, only to find my cd-rom not working. so until i can get that working and re-install windows, i was wondering if theres any other alternative for os x. id like to get my hands on a software where i can configure kill switches to the keyboard (like virtual dj, atomix and traktor). i know of traktor for the mac but i was looking for something a little simpler offering looping and customiseable controls.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks!

bro, i searched everywhere, downloaded every software out there for mac. i even got a hold of virtual dj for the mac BETA version. i can tell you even in the beta version on mac the virtual dj rocks traktor in the fact that its stays in sync all the time, you never have to check up on it at all you can trust it to do it for you (if ur a lazy bum like me). however, i still stuck to traktor because it was the only one that offered everything in one box per-se. its very stable and if you hit the play button on time you can click the little sync button and everything is dandy but you got to press it every once in a while in a long mix.
so i would recommend to get used to this software because lets face it, the guys at NI actually give a shit about how well their softwares perform. i just wish it stayed perfect in sync like VirtualDJ           saii.rave.ca

traktor all the way....dont have sync problems though!
you guys using it correctly?

...and use deckadance occasionally when i'm adding DAW tracks and need the vst functionality of deckadance to mix in and out of the set.
