Hello out There!

I use my ears and some theories for the mixing of a track.
My question is :
Does there exist something like a blueprint
for the frequence-spectrum of the master??
Some general peaks and cuts in every production which are important for a clean
song?

Is there a way that this can be used as input for a multiband compressor?           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Steinbergs 'FreeFilter' will take a frequency print of a track and apply it to another...

great learning tool

(try and find a track that is similar in style for the print, no point using a full-on print over a minimal track!)

C3P0, try this:
http://www.qkits.com/serv/qkits/velleman/pages/k4300.asp

or go to agilent.com - very advanced electronic measurement tools.
also very costy, but u probably can get a 2nd hand box.
