cd-players: there are only 2 real choices right now... pioneer or denon, which one u want is a matter of taste, they're both great.
mixers are much more difficult... The sound of the equaliser and the amount of gain u can give is important. The metering of the channels is very important too (so u can easily make sure everything is at the same level/volume). If those things are good, the rest is superfluous. |

----------------------------------------------
They are good ,but not all of them:
here is my list :
----------------------------------------------
1.Pioneer and Allen & Heath(this is ,standart of the clubs).
2.Vestax and Ecler .
3.Denon and Tascam.
Sorry , ihave only 3 groups.
Sorry to tell you that, but never buy a Berhinger ,even if you have small budget, waite untill you can get better like one from the group .
When you choose a mixer ,one of the important things is faders ,how long they will be act like a good ones(thats mean quality of faders) ? Berhinger even dont act like a good one(thats mean:bad quality) from the start(personaly ,i had expirience with one from Berhinger group). To others from the group ,i trust ,and not only faders ,but the quality of overal sound thats it produse, it hard to beat.
---------------------------------------------
Cd players is Pineer and Denon(both club standards)
------------------------------------------------
Finally ,headphones, dunno why you didnt asked about.
1.Pioneer,Sony,Technics_i mean dj models the highest ones, they will give you good monitoring in the clubs.Trus to those companies only.
-----------------------------------------------the classical set up is --------:2xPineer cdj100s and one mixer pioneer djm300,also headphones from Technics Rpdj1200-------------------------So,enjoy and remember ,when you speak about professional ,its all the time should be the best.------------------

i've had a behringer dx1000 at 2 parties, and it wasn't great, but it did all it had to do perfectly... But i've also had the behringer vmx-300, and that one sucks donkey balls... hit and miss affair when u want behringer... try before u buy... |
