Hi,people of the world, first of all happy 4/20, so I'm working in a track right now, but my speakers are really sh**!!~ but really really bad speakers, take a look

http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/speaker-system-z523

And my problem is that sometimes I can't hear what I'm actually doing in my mix, The problem with this track is that I try to give it a little extra crunch, you know to have a massive bass line., but I think I over did it. I have a problem EQing my leads towars the end, and really having a hard time trying to make this song sound ok. I feel Im missing something in my overal mix, anny thoughts? maybe you can hear something I dont! thanks in advance people or earth, and dont smoke to much today, haha just kidding!!
( I would of place this topic in the music production area but I alway get send back here so..)

ha, happy holidaze man its sounding pretty good, but I dont think you have aver done it, I think the bass could be higher in the mix, the kick is fine, but yeah the bass. try turn down the kick 2db, the bass up a few db, and then compress them together a little little bit maybe. Hopefully you can get it thumpin!

as far as your speaks, my friend has the same pair and I listen to my mixes on them cuz he has no neighbors. We usually have to have the bass setting pretty low on them eitherwise it gets all muddy, and the worst thing i notice about them is that bass notes last FOREVER on them, so I dont think its giving a very accurate representation of the low end. we usually bring them outside his place honestly, in the backyard

have fun, oh and the lead at 5:02 is a bit too loud. but the arrangement of this track is spot on man           --
