i have experience with ecler and i would recomend it to you, dont know about the denon but ecler rocks

Denon mixers are pretty good, better than Pioneer in my opinion. I concur that the Ecler are a step up, and if you can afford it, go Ecler.

I like the ecler mixers... very nice... As long as it's not Allen and Heath (I hate 4 band eqs for djing). Pioneers are the old standby, and honestly have their own sound to them, which can be good or bad depending on your own opinion... but they are pretty solid machines, and usually not too expensive... but Eclers are really nice too

I am supposed to get one soon and the guy at the store conviced me to go for ecler instead of pioneer.... when I try it out I will tell you asap ;-)
