If you've used or have experience with any of the following, please advise me as to the pros/cons.
Mixer
Behringer VMX300 - [BPM w/ Time/Beat Sync display, 3-Way Kill Switches, QRS 3D Surround, Crossfader Reverse]
Gemini PS-650i - [BPM, Cue w/Cue/PGM pan control]
Numark Matrix 2 - [2Ch, Slope control]
CD
Numark CDN-88 - [Dual CD, BPM]
Gemini CDX-802 - [Dual CD, Frame Accurate, Seamless Looping & Instant Start]
Numark CDN-33 - [Dual CD, BPM]
Numark Axis 2 - [Single CD, BPM]
Numark Fusion 222 - $600
[Two Numark Axis 2 + One Matrix 2 + Semi Hard Case]
Headphones
Sennheiser HD25SP
Sennheiser HD280Pro
Sennheiser HD212Pro
PS: I'm aware of the Pioneer CDJ-100 + DJ-M300 combination but thats too expensive (appx. US$1100) for me now! Add to this the high Import Duty.
(2 Pioneer CD-J100s + DJ-M300 Mixer = US$2000 Minimum)

first i would never go for the gemini cdj's they suck imo. ask for some time with them and see that they jump off beat. the responce to to your touches are with a small but yet really bothering delay.
second with your budjet for the headfones with you cant get the true pro sennheiser
i would go for the sony ones ( 700) if not in the budjet than the 500. |

Ya, I got the same response from couple of DJ's I spoke to about the delay thing.
The headphones, I'm pretty set on the HD25's cause I've used both the Sennheiser HD-25 & the Sony MDR-V700DJ before & prefer the Sennheiser's.
Thank's.

i have had the numark cdn 24 for 3 years (more than) and have used the cdn 33 which are very similar, they are solid and will last and work perfectly effectively, you need to be aware though, that if you learn to mix on these you will get a bit of a shock the first time you play out on pioneers becuse you will be used to a different touch... this is not an insurmountable problem though, you'll get it again in a couple of minutes
