gsp is a monster but diaz is so well rounded, the last 3-4-5 opponents gsp has faced has been kind of one sided as far as I can remember. Gracie black belt, impressive boxing technique, the chin of a champion and thc in the blood. What other fighter can rack that up?

The last very well rounded opponent he had was BJ and we all know who greased up excessivly for that one. It's not an excuse, bj probably would've lost anyway but you catch my drift?

All it takes is 1 punch, gsp's been grinding out decisions for a long time now. And who finished diaz last? (Looking up on wiki)
Kj noons in 2007... 4 years lol.
No way this fight goes 5 rounds, it's impossible.

as much as I doubt GSP will finish Diaz, I would say the chances of that are greater than Diaz beating GSP...
sure Diaz has good hands and a really good bottom BJJ, but at the same time, the last true wrestler he faced and beat was Frank Shamrock, and he really hasn't faced many since he lost against all those wrestlers in the UFC (in fact, a lot of his fights in Strikeforce seem tailor-made for his style)... sure those losses were a long time ago and fighters evolve, but if anyone defines evolution and growth in MMA, it would be GSP...
the way I see it, when the fight stands, Diaz will try to box with GSP, but not only does GSP have very quick and precise hands himself, but he has an plethora of kicks behind him that Diaz doesn't... GSP will likely use small combos and kicks to keep the distance against Diaz and when Diaz starts to open up and close the distance, GSP will take him down at will, and since Diaz really has only been able to submit strikers, GSP will very likely muscle and completely control Diaz on the ground, nullifying that bottom BJJ game Diaz is so well known for...
yes this is MMA and anything can happen, but GSP has already had that experience against Serra, and has done absolutely everything a fighter can do to prevent that from ever happening again...
GSP by UD, 50-43... if by some grace of God GSP does finish, it'll be by TKO or corner stoppage in the later rounds... likely involving knees to Diaz's ribs similar to GSP vs Serra 2 stoppage...

Well eloborated, if anyone learned something from the Serra fight it was GSP. However Diaz is a brawler, gsp is afraid of getting hit. Bad combo for gsp.

I agree GSP is afraid of getting hit, but that's why he won't let Diaz hit him... and honestly, he's fought better strikers...

Watching the press conference live at the moment, GSP is no longer fighting Diaz as he has failed to show up for 2 press conferences and has yet to contact the ufc (?).
GSP - Condit is the new match up.
