HA! Isra provides a forum for everything. I took Taekwondo and Brazilian JuJitsu for about 10 years and I've been craving getting back involved..
Been watching since the very first UFC in 93. and I have to say the strongest fighters out now are Silva and Machida. Amazing to watch. Such skill and discipline.

After seeing Franklin the other night I was very impressed. He looked the best he has in years.

Thanks! Im glad to see more people into MMA on this forum.
wow! BJJ comes through again! really nice technique from Werdum. he was spinning on the ground like a top just waiting for Fedor to open up.. Fedor fell for the trap this time.

Yea Kimos is pretty crazy. It would be kinda weird hitting someone with a huge tatoo that said Jesus.
A tough guy though.
Yeap UFC 3 is Legendary. TO be honest I wish they would bring this format back. fighting multiple fights in one night. These guys in these early UFCs' were fucking hardcore, You had to fight and win 3 times. It was amazing to watch the early years.
Royce loved fighting in his Gi. I think at that time it helped identify Brazilian Jujitsu. In the older days there was a lot of pride in individual styles. It was more like Karate vs. BJJ or Taekwondo vs. Samba or whatever, after everything took off people started incorporating everything into everything.

None of those old UFC fighters would stand a chance against today's top of the crop. This sport advanced light years ahead in the last 15 years

If Royce was in his Prime right now he would dominate his weight division.
yea overall todays fighter is much better equipped and well rounded.
but fighting four bare knuckle fights in one night?? that was really hardcore. some of these big heavyweights couldnt last because by the last fight they would be gassed.
There wasnt weight classes back in the early days either. everybody fought everybody. whether you were 170 pounds or 300 pounds.
