when you have for example lead that compunds from layers would you put eq and compressor for all the layers together or would you insert eq and compressor for each layer alone?

follow ur ears bro.... though i honestly wouldnt recommend eq and compression for all the layers together.... rather send each of dem separately to the mixer channel and eq compress separately.... for sure u will get a better result....

That depends on if the leads are compatible for the same kind of compression or not. Generally I prefer to compress each lead separately, simply so each lead can get what it needs...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
