Since the "Dj Mix Promotional" issue seems to still be ambiguous I hope no one gets their feathers too ruffled over my mix being posted here!

Yeah, they need to cut that shit out. This forum is practically dead anyways, and hardly anyone ever wanders into that mix section. I know it never even occurs to me, even though I do like hearing peoples mixes.

They locked paradigm's thread but went ahead and deleted my thread altogether for some reason:)
I guess they have a privilege of applying rules when they want to..beings mods and all..lol.. |

the issue has been open to suggestion since the beginning and nobody has stepped up to offer anything better...not a single constructive remark actually in the longest while. there are better ways to go about effecting change than just bitching. this is not a dictatorship, however much some might like to believe that. if there are policies in place, it's the moderators' responsibility to uphold them. it's about avoiding those slippery slopes. if you want to hear mixes, you know where to find them. no need to be so lazy and stubborn. if your thread was deleted famiable, it's because you made no effort to even mirror your post in the designated DJ sets forum. the north american forum is not a platform for individual artist promotion. if you're going to be so selfish as to ignore whatever policy exists, then you don't deserve a second of exposure. better to offer a medium for equal artist exposure while fostering more of a community atmosphere, atleast i think. i'd rather continue this discussion in private with anyone who's interested, rather than drag on this redundant topic. |
