Hello to all...
Our org recently booked Astral Projection to perform LIVE in Barcelona...
We would like everibody to know that in our event they're behaviour was super professional...Super humble and sympathic persons this 2 Israelis Avi and Lior...
Apart from they're simpathy they didn't fail in nothing, they arrived in time to play at the exact hour they were supposed to play, they performed with they're 2 laptops with Avi playing live with a midi controler and Lior in the Main Mixer...it was a great great show, the crowd enjoyed a lot they're LIVE...
About the mith of Astral Projection drinking too much before they perform...i can tell you that in our event they went straight from the airport to the hotel ( which in the next day i spoke with the recepcionist of the hotel to pay the bill and all they consumed was 2 bottles of water... ) after the hotel our runner took them to the club where they arrived right in the time they were ment to play ( 3 am ).
In the back stage a member of the org opened a bottle of wine and offered Astral a glass of wine during they're performing...and this was what they drinked during the Live Act...and watter of course...
After they finished the LIVE i gave them some tickets for the bar and they drinked some whisky...
Back to the hotel without any kind of problems and they've been very kind to our runner and to the staff of the hotel...
It was a pleasure to work with Astral Projection and for sure we will want to work with them again because they are realy professional...and about the music ... what to say 
For all the promoters that heard some stories about Astral and can be somehow afraid of booking them i tell you by own experience...book them, treat them with respect and you will get the same...

sorrry spasm but i have to say one thing,i ve seen astral projection a few times in my life....some were magical,with them playing live and quality music(which is a trademark of lior and avi),THE ONLY TIMES they performed badly....were on shitty parties,with thieves as organizers,without the minimum respect for the public or the artists....somehow it seems that astral were joking with this(and they have my support)..........there in portugal you people feed many bla bla bla bla bla bla bla.....my mercedes is bigger than yours and galinha da vizinha etc etc
or you will tell me that the party in aveiro years ago was ethic?well organized?i heard to say friends of mine who were playing there,they had to pass hours looking to get payed(minimum)....man before saying that astral learned the lesson....i think many organizers should first shut the fuck up and start to have respect for the artists they book........instead i know astral and they are very nice people....but what to do when we have a organizer that wants to be rich in one party without moving his ass?
that bastards should learn the lesson ,not astral

i think this was refering to the astral projection tour in lisbon and porto in march last year.. not aveiro party

yeah right that's really professional.
You dont like the organizers that booked you, so in order to show how much you dislike the organizers you make a fool out of yourself in front of an audience, get tottaly wasted, drop on your face with alcoohol and play with an i-pods for evreyone to see, that will for sure teach the organizers.
reeeeeeally professional atittude bro.
that's bs, if they didn´t like the promoters, the best way would be to leave, and later explain on a public forum what happened, That's what advance payment is for.
The promotors would have to cancel the gig, and deal themselves with the problerm.
That's how things work, what they did, was disrespect the audience that went there to see them, and made a fool out of themselves and still expect payment, they got what they deserved, and it seems they learned their lesson for the future. |
