Hi there i want to thank this great country for the lovely time i had here. The nature is so incredible here and we have met some really nice people. Now we are enjoying our last time here in Rio Preto in a fruit farm and soon going back to Malta.

Nice you enjoyed your time here... 
Since you opened this topic, could you take the time to make a review about what you accomplish psytrance related here in Brazil? Talk a bit about music, inspiration, muse, psychedelic locations, etc...

Well as for trance i think it is non existent here. The music played i do not like the energy in the dancefloor is extasy and lolipops. People i met have no idea on what is really trance. The people here are Full-on dress like hippies and say they are trance, but on the whole i met a lot of good hearths all i am saying is music wise this place was a mess for me, but maybe i came across the wrong track and there are trance people here!

Thanks for the sincere feedback.
I agree with you, most people here are on trance stuff mainly because of the drugs. A lot of people will deny it, but go to a party with them and you'll spot the truth.
I think this problem is even bigger than the problem of having mostly full on being played at parties. Well, it's all somehow related, full on usually fits more xtc than most hypnotic, twisted or progressive sounds. I think education could modify the problem, but trying to win the fight against the "money/fame talks tendency" is really a kind of utopia. Fortunately we don't need to win, at least for me just fighting the good fight is already the victory. 
Back to the issue, I hope you learnt a lot from your time here, and keep in your heart some warm memories about your life here.

Well my friend... unfornutaly, it´s like that indeed!!! People say the scene is getting bigger though!!! Well, yes it is!! But getting worse also... 5 years ago, u would see great parties, with great artists, and peolpe smiling at each other, laughing, ect!!
But, what can we do??? I can deale with that, even if it dispates me! Butr when u really love something, u just pass through almost anything to check it!!!
I hope u r still wanting to get back in Brazil!! This is a great country, and if u do so, p.m me!! I'll be glad to show u the beauties of our land!!!

I usually dont like generalizing but:
the only way to feel a good energy in trance parties in brazil is either going to a private party or going to some festival (like universo paralello) while there is progressive playing..
appart from that, 99% of the times and of the people is just lollypops and ecstasy.. |

Yes i am amazed you did not give me any shit for talking like that on your parties, actually i am happy you are honest. The truth is also that not only in Brasil this happened but in the whole world. Trance is ready to be reborn now because right now werever you go it´s the same shit! I am one of those few people who love the voyage of the music not only the quality and work hard for this... I love brasil and will be back to play for sure.

Hey Mato, i was there for 7 months man i honestly i did not have even one party close to a trance envoirnment it's too big and too commercial. I met really nice people and had a good time, we had all our studio with us and made some music in brasil we are compiling an album now for next year and it takes a lot of time man to do something from the hearth...thanks but i am no super Jesus i am just someone who really loves trance...
