I've got one of these, it was used all over our old stuff. It's a great little synth, especially because the LFO goes up to the low audio range, which makes all sorts of growliness possible. The filter doesn't self-oscillate, so this synth won't scream without external assistance

Looks as mint as mine when i got it. Indeed a nice synth and rather overlooked. It is rather exotically built up with 2 separate parts (though still monophonic) very fast lfo for a vintage synth but it needs a mod to have more usable range on the lfo pot. It seems an ok price for one in that condition for sure. Some easy mods can be made without breaking it making it more useful. Only bummer is yamahaДs cv scheme
