Hmmm wouldn't exactly call Sensient minimal, a lot of his tracks have a variety of really unique sounds and melodies drifitng about.
I'd definitely say check out early Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom(www.discogs.com/artist/Mittelstandskinder+Ohne+Strom), Authentik (www.discogs.com/artist/Authentik) & Three Point Turn (www.discogs.com/artist/Three+Point+Turn)and Boo Reka (www.discogs.com/artist/Boo+Reka)
Also X-Dream - "Irritant" and The Delta - "Send In... Send Back".
Also check out Various - "Clangour" (Boshke Beats), Various - "Fundamental" & "Eleventure" (Horns and Hoof).
Also check out the Various from Mechanical Dragon.
Depends on what you call minimal and dark but the Send In... Send Back is about as atmospheric as I can think of with very hard techno beats. A great album to this day I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

He is very very psychedelic and melodic. But I think its tracks doesnt move the dancefloor.

check this one out:
one of the most played tunes in 2008 here in germany - and turned out to be a floor-crushing track. especially as a perfect bridge between deep and slowed down techhouse and more forward going psychedelic influenced techno.

ppl can you tell me which artist makes dark minimal trance?
Trance. No disrespect to the techy stuff, but don't say Sensient isn't minimal. You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

I love them but they are pretty hard to drop them at a correct time so that people get in to them, Must of the time I see people hearing it, and saying mmm this stuff is different but they dont dance "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

his older tracks are dancefloor wreckers. the newer stuff not so much.

not that particular album, but their tracks and collaborations on JP Noir and other similar compilations are brilliant. there's only 5 or 6 good tracks out there though. they just sort of disappeared, no idea what happened to them.

the kickdrums are softer compared to psytrance and progressive trance. they are more 808, and the trancekicks are more 909, which sound harder and more present.
so if you mix a 808 kick behind a 909 kick it realy sounds like someone reduced the kick a bit, what people dont expect - this makes it difficult to combine techno with psytrance-tunes.
if you want to impress psytrancers some techno-tunes you should like lurk for morning-sets and after hours and play some stuff trancy minimal like tim green or some techhousy deep stuff like robert babicz, from there you can build up some arrangement. just to give an idea, it allways depends on. but there are many tunes which would take the heads of a lot trancers away. sorry for offtopic.

i'm done trying to play techno to hardcore psytrance fans, it leads to too much aggravation. maybe progressive heads, but def. not darkpsy or full-on lovers.

offcourse progressive-sets only, especially because most techno/house-releases are produced for tempos around 125-130 bpm.
btw. my track of the day (one of the harder ones) ...
@pipe..
your embended vids let me surf through some very goog memories.
