Straight from London, we are very excited hosting for the very first time the MINIMAL MAYHEM parties guesting three top djs & performers with a long history and love for all things that go bleep in the night and can turn the dark into light. or so is been told. ---James Monro---
For those of you who don\\\\\\\'t know me, and a catch up for those who do. I have been involved with all things electronic, hypnotic, sublime, messy and generally dance for most of my life. Flying Rhino was my stable for the duration of its flight (\\\\\\\'94-2002 and what a journey it was)...happy, heady, blurry days...Meanwhile lots of exciting things going on at the moment with music and life...making the big move of buying land in brasil, building a house and a studio, and beginning to create a retreat there with Tash, my fiance, and our menagerie of animals. Tropical Beats, both the label and the agency, which we started in brasil 4 years ago, is absolutely rocking now...whipping up the dance floors around brasil into a frenzy, and bringing lots of exciting music to the scene. We are also rapidly creeping into europe and the rest of the world. Lots of new, and established, but all very talented and exciting artists are getting involved. As TB Records, we are fusing tech-house/progressive house/breaks/minimal/techno/deep house and the less hectic side of trance, all into a delicious blend of deep, groovy, and tweaky behaviour (check out - www.tropicalbeats.com and www.myspace/tbrecs). I am still working on my first solo album at the moment...a seemingly never ending process, but one I am having great fun doing...also preparing a cheaky little live set which I will be performing at The Glade Festival on the saturday night...1st live set in the UK for many years. The 4D project with Grant Collins (an experimental idea we started years ago on Flying Rhino) is pumping at the moment and we are going to be preparing a live set together very soon. We have a 12\\\\\\\" out now on namnam records from copenhagen, and have lots of other releases lined up. I am also continuing to do music with Dick Trevor (continuing our old Bumbling Loons project, but with a slightly new slant on things). We are now up and running selling music on Beatport as \\\\\\\"TB records\\\\\\\". I will have my first James Monro release end of June. Loads of very tasty goodies lined up!....hope you enjoy...and maybe see you somewhere in the summer...

Aka Giorgio was born in Rome 31 years ago.. He spent 15 of those researching spaced-out music. In 1992 he did his first dj set, with 10 vinyls, and a lot of tapes from radio stations. Nowadays he performs in some festivals around Europe and underground urban parties under London\\\\\\\'s surfaces. His sets have had several transitions and inputs, developing during the years into a single-minded djing concept able to interact with deep techno clubs or \\\\\\\'\\\\\\\'off-world\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\' chillout rooms , always.. trying to shape the future and discover the next step. Also involved in Indica Music, he collaborates with Neurobiotic Records , and he was the mind behind the alternative stage at Sonica, an Electronic open-air Music Festival in Italy.

Simon is the co-director of The Human Touch booking agency, Minimal Mayhem events company, Eye2Ear Music Syncing Agency and formative member of the new band ‘Casanueva’ (Myspace page coming soon).
This comes after years of music production, making parties and helping out with two years worth of Glade Festivals. In September 2005 Simon was hired by Twisted Records (http://www.twisted.co.uk) to help in the official capacities of running the label and supervised the organisation of the Twisted Label parties in March and October 2006 & May 2007. It was from this platform that he started his official DJ career. In December 2006, after an impressive gig in Switzerland in front of 1000 people and label owner, Simon Posford (Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Younger Brother), he was made an official Twisted DJ.
Since starting out he’s played in the USA, Israel, Russia, Ibiza, Morocco, Costa Rica, Greece, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Finland and Hungary with more bookings pouring in all the time. Brazil, Japan & Chile are the latest countries to make bookings with Simon for 2009.
Widely acclaimed wherever he’s played, the gigs keep getting bigger and better! It’s been a meteoric rise in the short time he’s been on the circuit. He recently played on the main stage of the Glade Festival (http://www.gladefestival.com) introducing the Younger Brother live set!
Whilst performing as a Twisted Records label DJ playing PsyTrance, Lounge and Chill Out, he also made his own parties under the name ‘Minimal Mayhem’ (http://www.minimal-mayhem.co.uk) specialising in minimal, prog, house, techno, electro & breaks.
In October 2008, he left the umbrella of Twisted Records to pursue his own musical path in the world of Minimal Mayhem. He plays everything and anything that will mix together. Bits of techno, electro, tech house, minimal, progressive and psychedelia. A non conformist, he likes to keep the dancefloor guessing. Whilst floating between the genres he still keeps it deep, driving, sexy and psychedelic.
As a part time producer for many years he’s just started to find his feet after a few years of concentrating on Djing. His recent ‘Burn It Up’ remix for Martin ‘Youth’ Glover has catapulted him into the limelight with many people regarding it as one of the sounds of the summer of 2008.
---The Minimal Mayhem story so far---
Sometime in 2006 we realized that listening to one kind of music all night was a bit boring and that having too many rooms or too many people simply diffused the energy of a party. So we decided to do something different. Handpicking only the finest tried and tested DJ\\\\\\\'s from each of our favorite genres, we weave together a tailor made journey of sounds that is guaranteed to keep the grooves fresh and tasty all night long!
The only running theme in our nights is that its always groovy, sexy, trippy, funky underground dance music. Nothing too fast, too noisy or too messy. Just filthy clean bassy beats emanating from the worlds of breakbeat, disco, electro, minimal, tech house, techno and progressive. No fluff, no favours... La creme de la creme ONLY!

Hello all!! May is firmly here, flowers got picked and Minimal Mayhem is fast approaching! To welcome spring we have updated our facebook page and thought to let you know!

The venue is fixed and that's not other than Paris Club (Akadhmias & Zoodoxou Phghs 3, next to Casablanca, ex-Club22)
This is a 400 capacity venue so do come early in order to avoid disappointment!
Our close friend Mr. Frank of Amphibian fame will grace us with a groovetastic opening set before the mayhem boyz pick the decks! Don't miss out!
As a special surprise we have a lime bar on the making where fresh lime based cocktails shall be savored all night long!
And for those that lime simply doesn't do, there is a full bar available where drinks will be offered at low prices!
