Hi all,

ok, this is not a real Minilogue imitation because its too slow for that, but I tried to imitate their free-flowing improvisational style they created lately. On this one I used an analog sequencer for the first time, and most tracks you hear are played "live" on the sequencer and the synth and recorded in one take.

Anyways, I`m quite happy with the results, it turned into same weird type of deep arpeggio-driven tech-house tune at 110 BPM, all feedback is welcome!

THIS IS PRETTY COOL! GOT THAT EXPERIMENTAL ANALOGY VIBE TO IT. OH SHIT I TYPED THAT IN CAPS LOCK, BUT GOOD ON YA MATE. SOME OF THE BREATHY, WHITE NOISY BITS ARE JUST TRIPPY AS HELL. ALSO THE PERCUSSION IS FANTASTIC. MAYBE I SHOULD TAKE CAPS LOCK off.           Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room. ~Kurt Vonnegut

I WANT MORE BASS!

seriously: again a very nice track with your personal twist to it.. some more sub to compliment the clean mix would be sweet though. and tame the crash please

aloha buenos apre-midi,

i am on the more bass train as well neat vocal samples there, and nice atmosphere, fed by that pad.

yeah i think this is very cool, although i think you need to find a good way to change up that main lead, it plays almost the whole time, its really cool, but it would give the tune more motion if it was changing up halfway through

cool!:)           --

Wow so trippy. Really nice one, a lot of details.
The cymbal crash sounds a bit loud on the attack and too bright.
And yeah, more bass please           Free album out now:

in case you did not fully understand what people meant, listen to this small tutorial:

Hey Aje,

Cool track, good ambient in it with still a lot of room to improve if you wish, you can paint a richer sonic experience by adding a few more background fxs, it could be elements of nature or some sort of hibrid sounds with peculiar rhythmic patterns, theres still room on the stereo field to play with .

Bass and crash was already mentioned so nothing to add here, cranck it and sweeten it up!

Cheers!

I dunno what to say aje, this is both cool and weird!
I think some more depth could be achieved with background pads.
