Are mini laptops any good for making music?
Im considering buying one, beacuse I want to be able to make music while I travel, without the extra weight.
I use FL Studio, on a normal laptop with only 1GB ram, so it doesn't have to be that powerful.. any suggestions on which of the cheaper laptops I should consider?
thanks |

you should consider buying a macbook, for 599$ and then use logic! the netbooks nowadays comes with Intel Atom processors which aren't very good. you can buy any netbook they are all the same. |

Just get as much ram as possible. I guess it could work well for making your own samples or just producing sounds and starting out tracks.
Making whole tracks might be difficult with 1 gb ram and not alot of processing power.

13.3 is good if you have a big screen in your studio and use it for liveset but for producing while traveling i would go with a 15 laptop |
