hello .. i want to buy a mini disc that rec mp3 from my computer and also rec from anything alse like my stereo......

it doesnt record mp3...it converts it into lp4 or lp2........that way you can record much faster .....but im talking about the sony z1.....if u have money for it |

...it doesn t realy matter which is the "source-format"...it can record anything which comes out of your soundcard, cd-player,...( doesn t matter which manufac-date )
maybe u mean the newer ones which have some usb or smt like that (--> lp4 / lp2 ?) which the main-point is, like mentioned, that u can rec faster.
--> if u have enough time, all u need is a md which can record...that easy...

the regular copy of cd is 128 kbps... i want to know when i copy to my mini disc at 192 kbps if the mini rec in 192 kbps....

minidiscs use another kind of music compresion, to allow you to record 4 albums in one minidisc, but you loose volume and quality
try to get a net MD which are the ones with usb connection, and a nice/friendy interface to record your music and they record at 32x speed, otherwise you will have to record in real time and be exposed to make some mistake....

have you never heard of lp2 and lp4 functions?
well anyways what's the point of recording 320 mins of music at not so good quality to md? the discs are really cheap and small.. easy to carry a bunch with you..
