I can go to Colorado and other places on the way. I'm thinking. Anybody else from the southern California area got some ideas?

Ouch. Thats lot of gas money......
But if you get bunch of people from Cali side then it might just work out for you. But trust me, with this lineup, every mile of driving or flying will be worth it.
If you cant find anybody, I will suggest that you just fly down to Chicago or Milwaukee which will be cheaper then flying into Cedar Rapids. Then you can just rent a car and drive down to Fairfield. I know for the fact that lot of people are coming from Chicago and Milwaukee area so maybe somebody can share a ride with you.
I know for sure that you can rent out camp equipments like tent etc. too so maybe you wanna check out that option.
Hope you come down.......will be fun to stomp with cali freaks (had a blast of a time in last year Gemini).

alright!!! just to let everyone from far away know though, EARTHDANCE is the next weekend after this and is less than 4 hours away from this show!
SO THATS THE TWO BIGGEST PSY FESTIVALS IN THE MIDWEST BACK TO BACK.
If thats not enough incentive to get people outside of the midwest to see the midwest raging I dont know what is

Yes, I had a very good time at Gemini. Meeting you guys from Iowa and the midwest was yet another thing I liked about the Gemini festival. And now Richard is returning the favor and coming to your neck of the woods. Along with this list of DJs that others assure me are ones to hear and dance too. Random was tag teaming the wichdokta. A few of you played too, though I missed some of you Saturday night/Sunday morning. I think you should raise the number of people up to 376 or 423. 300 is kind of low and I'd hate to be #301 after taking the Greyhound cross country to get there.
I like some of these travel suggestions, acidity. It's two months away, but with the distance it is good to start making preparations now. Colorado is lots closer. I might fly there and carpool with a friend of mine that lives there. I just told him about this event and he sounded enthused just from my descriptions, so this might be a plan too. Carpooling with a bunch of us from around here might work too. We'd need a big vehicle for the people and cargo which'll hurt the gas mileage, but will let us take four or more people which will cut the individual expense. Flying to Chicago and hitching a ride while kicking in gas money seems like a good plan too. I'll have to check a map and stuff. Chicago's a major hub, so I'd think airfares might be lower priced there especially after Labor Day but not near other holidays.

we REALLY need your canned goods folks, Fairfield needs to know that we are here to stay! With other land opportunities in that area, and a welcoming community, it seems we have found a great town to take the sound outdoors! awesome folks in this town!
Bring your canned good items! 3+ items gets you the $5 off... but anything more than 3 is greatly appreciated!!!

out of state guests will be accomodated no matter what. Especially from 5+ hours away. so just make sure to reserve a spot if you cant pay by credit card for presale for some reason if you are coming from 8+ hours away.
