MOP raises the bar once again! I had such a good time. Thank you for having me play and letting me rock out a night time set- those are my fav  . Thanks to all for the kind words on my set and my track, I truly appreciate them. It was really awesome to see all the Minny people come out. I had a good time meeting a bunch of new people and talking with old friends.
Wish I could have stayed longer at the afties, but I had to get back home since I'm traveling for work this week.
Just having this event happen is a true tribute to the resilience of MOP to make things happen no matter what. I love you all!
Also, I'm thinking that a morning goa set to end parties should be mandatory from now on

Never been to a MOP party but it sounds awesome!
and you guys as promoters sound like top notch promoters, always thinking of Plan B, and just setting the bar in terms of sticking to your word.
I feel like if something happened to a venue elsewhere the party would've just been cancelled.
I hope to visit your parties at some point because I attend the University of Vermont and it's really hard getting a college crowd into psytrance, but having parties at the school is very respectable and hard to do! and the values you promote are the values that this scene was founded on. And the fact that the cops support your parties is fuckin unheard of and will be of such a benefit to you. Hope to meet you guys.. maybe at World Bridge? I'll definitely be there!

Thanks for the awesome words Dan! We are trying to make it to World Bridge, but are unsure. At least Nick (Aktif) may be present, but this is also unsure. It's also very cool that you are from a college campus as well! Thank you for the kind, inspiring words once again.

Wow! What an amazing event, I still feel like I am in recovery mode. I wanted to thank all the MOP peeps for throwing these events and keeping the spirit of Goa alive in the US. The Spring Equinox was actually my 3rd MOP party I've attended and the 1st one I got the honor to play at. Which was an amazing experience!
1st Let me say the sound was bangin! I loved playing on that system. It was so clean and clear and the monitor was perfectly set up. Great Job
2nd Killer line up. Everyone played such great sets and the flow of the night was nicely done. The Agents played some killer Dark Psy that I danced my ass off too. Which was kinda crazy to me because usually I don't care for the dark psytrance. Kevin.. Mad props man you played some sickey tracks. Not to mention Helios's set was just pure epic awesomeness!
3rd .. All the Deco and live art was superb. Couldn't have asked for any better visuals.
One last big thank you to everyone involved. It was an honor to play and be apart of this event and I am already looking forward to coming back out to Psyowa.

WoW, what a grrrreat party! I can't believe how much fun I had, some of the most in a reaaal long time. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported, newbies and veterans alike, even with the last minute venue change. It's real good to know that you all believe in us and know we'll always make sure that mindoutpsyde shows are epic and beyond expectations, even if certain conflicts arise. The people were numerous and wonderful, great vibes thick and high energy rampant throughout the entirety of the night. The uncensored soundsystem friggin RAWKS too! Thank god most of the neighbors were gone for spring break and we were able to pay the few left off Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy We will make sure and have the power issues resolved for next time as well lol Smiley I met many new incredible people and was very happy to see some certain Iowans out. I have always been a huge fan and admirer of Hector and Shawn New and seeing them there all night was awesome! We def want you guys on the next lineup, we're working with a date in may and hope you all can make it! Alot of new Minneapolis people came too, and their vibrance and dancefloor warrior traits showed and helped make the amazing party that it became. You all come back now!
I was rushing around all night and since the music was so good the whole time there were a few big sets I missed out on Sad however, i tried my best, and from what I heard, everything was spot on. Some of my favorites:
HELIOS - OH MY!!! Your new stuff is unbelievable! Top notch material at its finest. Keep doing what your doing man. Great vibes all weekend, and I felt I truly made a new friend. See you when I come out to Cali!! Smiley Smiley
DARK JESUS - Your shit was so HAWT that I had to run home to get a fan for that back room! I know i told you a bunch of times but it was off the meat rack son! You def gotta come back Smiley
E11even - waaaaaay good stuff. mixing was spot on from what I heard, and the track selection crunchy and fistpumping. Great energy, vibes and everything else! come back! and Ill try to make it out to colorado to party with you sometime!
LADY SPARXX - I didn't catch much cause I had to play myself, but you were one of the highlights of the night in that room. Pounding, thumping, groovin tunes. you as well must come back soon!
JAGNO GAIA - Wow man!!! Goa at its finest, and coming live from in your mind! very very VERY impressive. We didnt get to talk much but im sure there will be more room in the future for that Wink
PSYCHOACTIVE AGENTS - All 3 of you did perfect together. I couldn't stop movvving Cheesy Cheesy I couldn't tell which one of you rocked my face harder... top notch!
ALIEN AUDIENCE - Trevor, I havent heard a better set from you in some time. I dont know what you were playing, but it flooded my mind unlike much else ive heard as of late
ASCENSION - Way to get it goan son. you are a madman behind the decks and people always groove to your stuff. you play a wide range too, very epic set!
STROOYA - My favorite set from you so far Z, you impress me more and more each time i see you. Keep up the great work and support. It is appreciated by many very very much Smiley
STEVO AND BSTUNAMI - you guys killed it! way to really start that back room thumping. Im proud to know you guys as iowans
TOBIAS - i hope your computer is better man! you were so hawt behind those decks that you fried it! wow, maybe you should mix less good music or something! lol
I didnt really get to hear anyone else much as I was running back and forth alot, but i pretty much heard at least a compliment about each act so far. great great music.
Other Epic parts of the party:
THE INTERACTIVE BLACKLIGHT SHOW BY PYROTECHNIQ AND TRIPUDIO ACCENDO - Very Very Very awesome! I love you all so much and I hope you know it! Anzel, Ashley, Alan, Kyle, Tobias, ( i hope im not missing anyone) you are some of the most flexible, best dancers in iowa! sooo good, we should do this more often Cheesy
THOMAS HANSENS LCD FINGERPAINTING - and video games! This was a really big hit man, people couldn't stop playing with it lol. everytime it was on there was huge crowd around it.
THE ART - all of it was perfect. That place didnt even look like farras, instead a dimensionary shifted plane in a parallel existence. everything was perfect, we just forgot to put up spandex!
AGAIN, THE SOUND - thanks so much to Nate and Ryan for coming down and helping us out with the sound, despite the minor power problems. we definitely have to do this again soon.
THE CREW - everyone really seemed to come together for this one. thanks to everyone for all the help. Everything, including setup, during the show and take down went very seamlessly. its hard to believe we got that place looking like that within an hour and a half.
****Stay tuned for our next set of events, a Trilogy consisting of contact with ALIENS!!!

just to recap: 135 lbs of canned good items were collected at Spring Equinox, and donated to the Iowa City Crisis Center and Food Shelf. the staff that collected the donation was blown away by the quantity of the canned goods, and they are looking forward to seeing us again
HUGE thanks to everyone who supported the event financially and/or with canned goods! Thanks for helping us make the world a better place!
