- "C'mon, you know reality is boring.. In some way.."

I'm not trying to create another thread about how the psychedelic experience changes our lives, but i am trying to gather a few mind altering tunes, or, let me put it this way, simply choose one tune from your experience as a listener and share it with the rest of the guys here.

- "A tune which puts you for once in the back seat of the 'trance mobile' and drives you into distorted and psychedelic realities."

Here, my friend:

I have the habit of cataloging my music, last summer I fell asleep on the couch many times with a 10 hour playlist of psychedelic music playing, mostly late 60's - 70's eletronica and psy rock. Really awesome moments. I miss my student summer breaks           Free album out now:

My psychedelic journey starts with this song:

@ opensourcecode - Dude to enjoy this ryoji ikeda guy's "unstructured semi-rhythmic noises/bleeps" you have to be really hard up for novelty in music. Also it reminds me a lot of autechre, but more minimal.

Mind altering? anything by Black Lung (david thrussel).
Ryoji is kind of similar, except BL is recognizable as music most of the time, because it has a rhythm that has reasonable integrity and despite the distortion, beat crushing and screaching leads. Check out "the sound of meat"

@bukboy:

he asked for mind altering music, not grindingly normal hipster electrorock with controversial blog posts and pretention to spare.

i'm personally not interested in stuff that is "recognizable" or has "reasonable integrity." not if i'm trying to get my mind blown.

we're gonna keep pushing boundaries. you have fun with the stuff that sounds like stuff your dad listened to but with more bitcrushing

ps if you want more punkrock-y psychedelia that is actually, you know, different, try Luuli. she posts around here.           Quantum Frog / Anomalistic
