i came across some info on 2 burning-man type festivals that happen in the midwest.
Interfuse @ Boonville, Missouri

from what i got from the websites, it doesnt really look like theres going to be any psy music/performers at these events. as good as it may sound ... a burn really isnt a burn without the music.
was wondering if anyone has been to these events in the past and could shed a bit of light on what they are all about. will there be any psy themed camps?

There's psytrance at the Interfuse, I am pretty sure. The crew from Kansas City was there last year with their system. Arkansas has a pretty vibing psy scene as well, and it's only 4 hours away, so there might be something more this year.
as to Transformus, I have no idea. North Carolina isn't in the Midwest, though. 
If you're looking for more Midwest burns, Burning Flipside in Texas is probably the biggest one. It's in May, and it sells out fast.
Apogaea in Colorado is going to take place in late June/early July and I promise there's going to be psytrance there. So if you're in the area, stop by.  |

we at touch samadhi are arranging a stage for transformus in NC. which is in the same location as our neptunalia fest, samadhi reunion from last year, and our upcoming goa gil party in may....
asheville, while as west in NC as u can get, is in the south. technically not the midwest, id say we are at least 5 hours from the midwest ...hmmm is nashville in the midwest?
i would love to make some trips though within driving range in the midwest this summer.... maybe apogaea? dmtry lets talk! i want to see CO soon.
i just took a new teaching job and will be buying a house ! soon so its looking less likely that ill be able to go to BM again since i wont be able to leave town for more than a week at a time! damn.
