A friend of mine offered these monitors for a very low price, I was thinking of getting the Alesis MK2 but the SP-5B are being sold at a even lower price, I heard the SP-5B are just as good as the Event 20/20 but I also heard it colors the bass and the whole sound a bit.
The question is, should I go for the SP-5B or the MK2 or maybe even go for the M-audio BX8?
hopefully you guys will help me make a choice

Bx8 have much greater bass response...
And I also believe the mk2 have better low freqs respeonce than the sp5b also.
that 5" lf driver is not that low man.

Hi
I own the SP5B and Event TR8
The sp5b have a gre8 Mid Range but their bass is not so accurate - for the price they r very good
if it not cost you much why not - but if you think about the bx8 then go 4 it they r much better- i heard them too - they r not bad at all |
