Can someone explain to me why I need to press play on my sequencer so that my harware synth gets synced to the midi clock? Wouldn't be easier if the sequencer just sent this kind of messages all the time? What's the big problem in doing a simple thing like this?
Is there a way to do this? |

maybe all you forgot to do is checking the local clock on the synth to off, so it wont switch between the sequencer to the synth's clocks each time, i guess its now set to automatic, try this anyhow.. |

I dont understand why you need to sync your synth to your computer while the sequencer doesn`t run? the audio click as well dont work if you dont press play! its the nature of things around here..
