Hey everybody, I am using Fruityloops 2.5 now(thank you guy, thank you very much) and I've gotta say this, I dont need ANY OTHER HARDWARE shit, my work sounds completly great with Fruityloops that I dont see the need for any Midi devices / samplers / sequencers.
I'm still discovering everyday how amazing this little software is. So, the point is, whatever you do it dosn't matter how you do it, if it's worth it, then it's worth it. |

Hey!
I just want to say that Fruity Loops is a nice software, and one can do really great stuff with it, But...............
It is not a good choice for PsychedelicGoa, Because it's filters are not accurate, and psychedelic instruments and Effects sounds too clumsy.
And the note editor is good for simple lines, for for advanced MelodicBass lines it is too simple.
You need an ArpTracker for these.
But still, Fruity is a good choice for those who want to make ClubHouse and even Nitzhonot (Yak!).
So, Use what's good for you!!

I dissagree.
on Fruity, if u know what u r doing u can make just about any music - we made a lot of trance with it, some melodic and some so scratched it was hard to listen to, a house track, hip hop, jungle, a friend has done a song with it (with words), and numerous wave loops of all kinds (fx, drums, melodies). it is a very good software to make really strange sound loops with it. it can b as accurate as u want - u can graphicly draw the filters (right click on the filter and do 'edit events'). the problem is when u try to be unaccurate- u cannot make half bars with it.
so i think it all depands on the maker.

Every musician has his own musical style, and thus he has to adopt a unique technique.
Some thechniques require different gear than other. For example, the way I work, I MUST have real time control. I simply must. This is why I use hardware. Other people I know don't need any real time control, so they don't need any hardware. The same goes for different types of software, every software has it's own features and flaws...you just need to find what's best for you. |

i think that the frutiy loop is agood softwere
for loops and stuff like that . i myself
learnd from this softwere alott how to make
electric music but for a good psychedelic trance
you should get an anolog equipmet
becaus in the frutiy loop you dont have any realtime control on the arpegio or thing like
that...but you can make agood bass&kicks loops
and turn them into wav and thats agood use for the
softwere |

Shay Ganti I agree with u.
Till not long time ago I didn't appreciate this program ( fruity loops ) and to say the truth I don't use it now ( that's coz I have better ways to make my track ) BUT I learned to appreciate it through Morax and his gang ( Triac )...
Guy you have heard this track -
Chiquito the mosquito was done completely on fruity loops.
moreover,
Spank my monkey was done completely on impulse tracker.. ;-)
My lesson for this was - u can do anything u like as long as u know what u r doin'.

i think that if you have the money to buy fruity loop and your serious about making good psyche music than you should take the money and buy an analog device,start with something small and you will see that you never stop playing with it and that you just want more instruments(devices) |

Well usually one analog device won't take u nowhere my man.
If u can buy some 3-4 analog devices and one mixer, two monitors cabels to connect all that up then go for analog midi studio and make psych music.
If u have money for ONE analog device better invest it in computer hardware |
