its working (USB)
the nord preform as midi controler just the same as the keyboard together
you still would have to assign evry knob to its parameter tho , but you can make preset of that one time and viola!

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the question...
I don't think that would fix the problem. That would send data from the master keyboard to either the Nord or the DAW, and as I understand it he wants to send midi to the DAW from both the Nord and master keyboard simultaneously, which is exactly what the original post says.

No did you read the specs of the router??
It says you can choose what midi msgs to send to BOTH outputs... meaning you can send the same msgs to both outputs simultaneously AND filter msgs to both outputs simultaneously.

Yeah, but having two outputs on the router is useless if he's trying to send midi FROM the Nord and master keyboard into the DAW. I think he would need something like that router, but with 2 ins and one out instead of the other way around. That router would work for sending midi to Nord and DAW from the master keyboard, but I don't think that's what he's trying to do.
Either way, you can get a midi interface with 4 ins and 4 outs for around $20-30 more than that router, and it's definitely worth it imo.

he needs 3 merged ins (nord, kb and pulsar midi out). so 4 x 4 makes sense.
by the way its good to check if the box is good enough, i had a midi merge-box from philip reese, and theoretically it should be all ok but all the time i had notes hanging which is super annoying.
so question: what is a good 4 x 4 midimerge/patchbay box? preferably advice from experience |

I would use a MOTU Micro Lite or the MIDI Solutions Quadra Merge.
Elad is right though, if his master keyboard has USB out you don't need anything.
