Project 46,
All the programs u have mentioned were made for Audio manipulation.
If u want to use MIDI then u should use sequencers such as Cubase Cakewalk Logic etc..
hope the info helped ;-) |

nothing u r saying makes any sense, 46 what do you mean by 'media'? a keyboard? just because something is midi doesnt mean it is a synth or makes sounds.. which is the only way you could use your 'media' to record in audio editing software while also using it to record of the programmes you mentioned. |

Yer Highness, it's not about making sense, it's about something nobody in this entire BBS can't figure out... so let it be. nobody told you that things in this Forum will make sense, so there's no violation of the policy :) BOM |

I know that my way of making music is nice and good:
Steps: * connecting the media (groove+synths) to a computer. * using sound forge 5 - record the sounds from the media and use plu-ins and filters to change the sound (the recorded sound). * with the ACID PRO 3.0 - final step of the "channel based song"...!
The tracks are good and to my surprise their are even sound professional. |

yo, bilbo boyo why does everyone now call me yer highness? im not royalty! you like my new name for you?!? (except your not welsh... oh well) no, what i find confusing, is, as i can see right now, everyone comes in to this thread and asks him what the hell hes talking about, but hes still here talking as though were having some kind of intelligent discussiion about the way he produces music... thats the weird part.
its almost as if he cant hear uss......!??! |

That is a very interesting way, project..
It's very awkward though -
You have no chance to hear what u do together with the other parts - for that u need a sequencer. So u need it for writing down the score for your music.
It IS possible to work as u do - but it's highly unsensible and I'd say unprofessionable
Cheers |

Listen dear Yuli Fershtat... I do not understand why you say that my music is unproffesional when you did not hear it yet...
- Sometimes I use fruity loops 3.01, because of the plug-ins... - The sounds to the fruity loops is the waves i record at the sound forge 5.0...
- I played my music in several parties + I added live effects with the synth (JP-8080), and I want to tell you that my music is good because I like it and i guess the people like it because people keep inviting me to teir parties! |

Hallo Project I c u r back on the air!
I never said that your musik is unpro' - that would b really silly of me since I never had the honors to hear it ;-)
What I did state though - and that is why I am here at this part of the forum ( Yep, u have got that right, I give advises to those that interested to listen since there is a true chance that I can help... ) So I did state that your way of making your music can be improved and thus probably your sound will improve as well. I never heard your music but as far as I know, the better equipment u use, the better your sound becomes.
So, the advises I gave u are tax free and u r welcome to use them.
And take it easy, mate |

i mean you have such a killer equipment: Pulsar, Virus etc. this must be good music so where can i hear it ?
[i hope this summer i really have time to make my music too :-)]
