midi is a information channel of notes and values for synths, samplers, sequencers, etc..

What you can do is send midi data(let's say, notes from your keyboard or sequencer) to your virus, and then aply some waves fx at the sound you get from your virus.

helpfull?

its like that..
you need to record your virus into your cubase and after you got it on wave you can do whatever you want..

first rec the midi channel (virus) to one audio track , u will rek a wave file with the content of the mdi note mapped into virux c , after u rek the channel u canapply the plugins directly in the audio track , and there u can EQ and ADD all the waves plug u whant to put the sound were u whant hehe

I dunno what sequencer & soundcard u have ,...but in Logic there are AUX channels, where u can feed audio into from your synth, so u can apply effects to it...
Offcourse there are some latency issues here, that's all to do with your soundcard...

When asking such Q's on a forum, try to be more specific, mentioning Computer specs & soundcard & sequencer, will get you much quicker answers !!!!
