The very point with multi-touch controllers is IMO to be able to customize them.
Is this only a few different presets?
In that case it's far from a lemur-killer, but I'm sure there will be nice software appearing in the near future now with support for multi-touch in Win7 and Android as well.

aye - im looking forward to a year or two from now when there are lots of cheap tablet multi-touch PCs to throw Max for Live apps onto. I would love a lemur but its just wayyyyyyy WAY too expensive. |

BUT im looking forward when more innovative manufacturers take this idea an improves the basic idea, like for instance, add Android and rj-45, usb and perhaps a iiie-1394 port.

@ Perma Fry
A computer is useless...?
really?
come-on.
Right because records also sound better than cds...
Or its cheating to use a laptop...
Or my A-tracs are better than tape.
Its new tech guys... its come'in and being stuck on old tech will leave you in the dust like all those guys asking you gunna have turntables there or am I going to have to bring mine with me.. LOL
Dont be scared.

maybe its not useless but it really doesnt present any real advantage over hands on control , its mostly the hype in my opinion.
it would be different if the vstis or daw itself would be touchscreen
then wed be talking
but touch pad midi control using a third party sofware mmm i dont know doesnt see exciting enough.. fo r me anyway
