Hey man ,
I know this ,
What I am trying to do is to send midi data out from cubase into my controller in order to have my controller lear the midi cc number of the synt .
I know that it is possible but I don't know how to do this . |

Actually u can´t "detect" the midi cc.... U need to do it by yourself...
IN Cubase SX 2 it was done via "Generic Remote" function....
In SX 3 I still trying to do it... Anyone can help me?

Hi guys,
I am using the BCR 2000 controller , it has a midi learn function , it can receave midi data and map the desired knob accordingly .
There must ba away to map midi out of cubase !
Any way in Sx3 the generic remote is the same as in Sx1 in most sences . you should be able to do assign midi the same way .
This is what I am using now .

sidon, midi learn will work only if vst's send midi out - but most don't do that. It works better with the hw synths.
Try searching for the manual of the synth. Many synths have a list of cc's in the manual or somewhere else, try searching the net too. At least V-Station and the NI stuff have cc maps for them. |
