I have been struggling with finding a MIDI master keyboard with easy way to change programs. I have now to controllers, one is my old synth (Alesis QS6) and one is M-Audio Oxygen 25.
Lets say I want to browse trough synth patches, I am at patch number 1, I start pressing plus button, I want to get to patch number 95, but it would take ages using just the plus button.
In Oxygen it happens like this: press advanced button, press piano key prog, press piano number keys three times to enter patch number and then press enter piano key. This is far too slow.
In the old QS6 I would just press first number 90 (then it changes program from number 1 to 91), then I press number 5 (it changes to program 95), far faster interface to go to the patch you like.
I have been browsing virtually all significant controllers (M-Audio line, Novation Remote, Akai MPK, etc...), and none of them seem to have an easy interface to change patches. Do you have any recommendations?
