Hello everybody! I recently buy a midi keyboard (midismart for 44 euros) nothing special just for the beginning...It comes with Cakewalk Express 3.01.
How and why I use a midi keyboard?
Any good software program to play around and understand what midi keyboard does?
Any link for how-to or whatever about midi keyboard may be usefull!!!!!

you attach it to your PC via a midi connection, and set it that as your midi input. |

But I am not so geek! I attach it to PC via a midi connection, and set it as midi input, but _AFTER THAT_... What I sould do, to make it do something, how it works?

load a program (cubase for instance)
give it the correct midi in settings
voila, you can play with the VST instruments, Reason, Reaktor, etc... |

you can conect the synthcontroler to the midi input in your sound card or to the joistik input
or
if you dont have those then you should buy a midi usb interface .
