hi.
ive got my first midi keyboard. everything is ok but the automation doesnt work. i dont know why.
its the pcr 500
http://www.harmony-central.com/ProductImages/Large/000008223.jpg
i select link to controller on a filterknob.
then it should be supposed to auto detect which knob im turning on the keyboard and close. but that isnt working. its not closing except when im turning on the fat pitch key on the keyboard. then its working.
(the r1-9 knobs are supposed to be for automation i guess)
what am i doing wrong? why is only that big knob working?
thanks in advance and sorry for my english, tried my best. |

what i just noticed is that fruity loops has a midi light.whenever i press a note or move the modulation bend knob the light turns red. but when im turning on a r-1 knob for example nothing happens. maybe its broken :/? |

READ THE MANUAL!
Really read the manual, and read FL manual..
If you link to controller you have to specify the Knobs Nr... At least thats the case for me when i do it..
though i dont have your controller so try and read this

A simple way, but probably not the best way to do this is to open up your plugin move whatever parameter on your soft synth you want to respond when you twist a knob and on the fruity wrapper click plugin options - Last tweaked parameter - Link to controller and a menu should pop up. Then all you have to do is move the knob you want your last tweaked parameter to respond to. Kind of confusing but hopefully you can figure that out. |
