Anyone who has managed to use a midi gate with fruity loops ?
I´ve installed Advanced midi gate and made it work with nuendo and it seems to be really great, but i would really like to use it with fruity loops but haven´t been able to make it work properly yet.The plugin has to recieve internal midi data to work.
So i wonder if it´s possible to send midi data from fruity loops into an internal plugin

Yes, advanced midi gate works in fl.
Assuming you have the gate plugin at
mixer channel 1:
Insert a vst synth, route it to fx channel 1 and set the port at the top right corner to 2 (you can use any port you like really).
Insert a midi out channel: channels -> add one midi out.
Set the port to 2 also.
Open the midi gate plugin, do the same and then click at the bottom right corner so the button turns red.
By now it should be working, you juust have to use the midi out piano roll instead that of the synth.
cheers!

You can only controll VST's with a MIDI effect.
The MIDI effect is itself controlled by a MIDI out.
Set a MIDI out to port 1 for example.
Load the MIDI effect, and on the VST wrapper select show MIDI in port, set it to 1. Select show MIDI out port and set it to 2 for example.
Then on the wrapper of the VST instrument you want to controll, set it MIDI in port to 2.
