I recently bought a Virus rack B synth which I think is great but the factory sounds to me sound tooo old. can someone recommend good sites to download fresher sounds? |

i think it's the main idea with synths...making your own sounds...

as the other said the princeple in syhnt is to make your own sound by adjusting the novs
but is u insist you can download from accsess

yes man of course you can create a sound with a synth, but you cannot completely and totally transform a sound that is already in there- at least that is what a professional engineer told me |

ummm, that virus sure got a lot of knobs dood. 
i bet if u tweak every single one of em, and change the waveforms of the oscillators, im sure u'll come up with a completely new sound!

Some of the sounds yes I have been able to mould into decent ones and yes some factory ones like basses are okay especially if you layer them or add a few effets from its built in fx. But believe me some of the other sounds are like playground nursery trance and sound a bit like very old 92 trance. Then again a lot of the sounds that okey used in big brother tune are there.. so if your after a more commercial sound then I suppose its okay. In my beginner opinion there is only so much you can do with filters, oscillaors etc..
