now i know this is proberly a stupit question 
but in my nokia composer there are numbers before the letters (i know that i dont understand anything about composing ;-) ) so what to write there?

anyway nothing here realy helps me.
i have a samsung cell and it got a diff composer then the nokia.
i have to write the musical notes in this composer.

Wako when you say musical notes you mean ordinary music notes like do re mi and the likes or special musical notes for your cell phone?

in my phone is drawn like real musical notes.
and how can i know what note is a ?
and what is b ?
and so on...
and some notes should be longer...
so how can i know what notes are longer ?
they made the composer in my phone for ppl who can read and write real musical notes.

but shouldent there be speed or a rythem, or what ever it is before each "musical note letter"?
i think thats the same problem waco is having when he is trying to compose on the samsong phone, or am i mistaken?

ryhtm is set the way you write notes. if it's a chord notation (TAB), than you determine the tempo if your writing it yourself, or it is written next to it.

my friend told me he use to sing musical ideas into his answering machine, but now with his new cell phone he is just writing the notes in it till he gets home.

yahh ok, i'll give you an eksampel, if i write g then my phone komponist writes 4g1 the 4 can be modefied to 1,2,4,8,16,32 the 1 can be modefied to 1,2,3. and i can add #. now what i dont understand is how to determine what the to numberts should be set at?

Well there are some wav to midi convertors so you can create a small loop(few seconds) of your favorite track(try to be a part of the track with no many kicks,bass kai fxs just the melodie if that possible) in wav kai then do it midi!
And then with a nokia program you convert the midi file in ringtone!
Try it! in people can fly that works for me
