I have a huge, nice Midi keyboard but it has no knobs. Looking for a great controller that has easily assingable knobs. SO which Midi Controller do you recommend (one without piano keys)? Playing with knobs using the mouse isnt cutting it for me anymore...

Hmm.... there used to be a really cool control surface which was exactly that... just knobs and faders, but I don't see it advertised anymore.

This is kind of what you're asking for, intended more for mp3 djs, but would probably work great, it says everything is openly assignable:

Yep nice one The x-session looks nice too but buying the BCR you have twice the knobs for just 20 euros more.
Another product in the behringer series is the BCF 2000 with motorfaders Nice one too but a bit more expensive.            Peace, Love, Death metal

hmmm. guitar center has the behringers and i could get a nice discount on them. They looked kinda "cheaply" made to me. Are they good quality?

I would recomend UC-33 as well... quite cheap, I have it for more than 1 year and it's OK! Also check out the newest "WAVE IDEA", it's much like UC/33 but it includes a Joystick and an infrared controller (yum!!!)...

If you're after some kind of combo, Korg MicroKontrol looks gorgeous ... IMHO the keyboard is very cheap-plastic, but hey, nothing's perfect.... At half the price you have M-Audio Ozone, a little keyboard with knobs that is cool to get into your backpack

Hope it helps!

the BCR2000 from behringer is good quality for sure. For the price its a bargain! Theres a lot of reviews from this machine on the web, and good reactions from users. (I'm very happy with mine)

In my opnion, UC33 lacks a fundamental feature: endless rotary knobs!

I agree with dlx and recommend the Behringer BCR2000 (if you prefer endless knobs) or the BCF2000 (if you like motorised faders).

I agree with woyzeck.

Knobs - BCR2000
Faders & few knobs - BCF2000
These are made by Behringer -

Evolution makes similar controllers -
not as good, but also not really cheaper.

Knobs - UC16
Faders & knobs - UC33e

I'm looking at getting both Behringer controllers - does anyone know if I can use both at the same time on the same computer?
