Hello,
I wanted to know something about which I am really confused. My favorite synth is access virus TI, but I dont have the kind of budget to buy it right now.

I wanted to know if I should go for buying a synthesizer or midi controller and if I buy a midi controller M-Audio Oxygene will be good enough :- http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Oxygen8v2-main.html

Thankyou           "We surely know by some nameless instinct more about our futures than we think we know."

the midi keyboard u give link to got nothing to do with virus , defintly far from TI like toy car from real car
anywayz try listen to "microkorg" its very cheap synth with great sound quality and can be used for midi as well

a midi keybord is not a synth. but i agree before getting anything like virus ti u need to cover some priorities , like low latency, near field monitors and midi keyboard. the results u get will depend more on ur knowledge and use of synth and processors /software in this case. u can get similar results to virus with vsti its its just harder and the results will not be exactly the same. but if u have the knowledge u can get pretty close. anyway virtual analog is just software running on dedicated dsp and dedicated hardware control.
