midi controller or monitors???

hey
soon i pretend to buy a midi controller..
evolution mk-425c..
but the it hit me! hehe should i buy the controller or some monitors..
my budget is about 200€.. so that's what makes me nod at the monitors..
i have a stereo connect to my soundcard.. it's kinda good.. (aiwa) but i've never listenned to the sound of any monitors to know the real diference..
so what's ur opinion? midi or monitors?
and btw do you know some other good midi controllers at +/- that price?
and also.. do you know any good monitors at +/- that price?

With that budget i'd go for keyboard.
And also i think that the music should come first and then the sound design.
But my views might not be shared by others.

Go for the midi-keyboard!
I honestly do believe, that a pair of monitors aren't necessary for making good music...
It's much more valuable, having a set of keys to play around with...

But, also check out the MIDIMAN Oxygen keyboard series, I find it a bit better than Evolution

oxygen8 better than evo. mk-425c? sorry but i cant agree with you.. check the details and i think u'll agree with me..
plus even on their site they say that evolution are advanced midi controllers and the midiman are only midi controllers..
anyway i went to a music instruments store the other day, i saw the edirol pcr-30, and it's only a little more expensive than the evo. so i'm gonna go for this one
